Friday, January 13 And the story bagan in this way, One day Nick's head began to swell. Barely perceptible at first was the change but as time went on it was recieving more and more attention. It became the butt of many jokes among his friends who were all convinced that it was going to have a baby. Shortly after however the enlargement increased exponentially and before long the appendage obtained it's own gravitational field. Eventually it grew so large that it swallowed the earth and became a planetary body in it's place. Now we have built our civilizations on any inhabitable regions we can find and stay away from places such as his mouth. Eventually we hope that his growth will stop otherwise we will swallow the sun and our existance will end... There is however no evidence supporting this desperate belief. Sorry Nick... or am I? posted by Joel | 5:36 PM Wednesday, January 11 I realized something during college group on Sunday.. It's a tale that needs a little backstory however. Basically it boils down to this past year being terrible... My father has constantly been stressed either over work or the duties he has to the church. The Glad-A-Wagon finally broke. Krystal and I broke up. I failed Chemistry. Then actual serious bad happened.. Sue... Anyway through all this we've been feeling as a family that "If only this year would end." My dad suggested the concept and I wholeheartedly accepted it despite it's obvious flaws and the futility and actual emotional danger of adopting such a train of thought. Now the year has passed and something totally amazing has occured... I'm fine. I'm feeling good about life and ready to do something with mine. Everything is basically ok in life now. It's not like life is perfect all of a sudden or anything... I'm still single and I still wish I didn't have to work for a living and go to school... I did not just find out the most disturbing fact I've heard in a long time... I am not completely weirded out... washing my brain with soap does not sound like a good idea... but most of all... I learned about grills... not the things you cook with... not the things George Foreman claims to have perfected... People have decided that it would be a cool thing to put jewlery on their freaking teeth... I don't understand... I also tried looking at Launchcast for some music that I might want to listen to... apparantly I'm completely out of touch... there were like two songs I'd heard of in the top 100 list... and they were that rediculously bad Sean Paul crap Rob makes me listen to from time to time...
